Everyone knows those weird little people on restroom and crosswalk signs. A newly released design warns bathroom seekers to hurry up, it's a long to the nearest relief.
Places with public facilities were tired of cleaning up after those who just didn't make it on time. However, the expense of installing and maintaining extra restrooms had businesses looking for an alternative. Hopefully the new signs will encourage the public to hurry up now that they know the bathroom is far, far away.
Critics say both male and female figures should be used on the signs. But confusion as to whether both should be used on every sign or just one randomly chosen and what that would mean if only one gender's bathroom is far away, and what about women in pants and men in dresses, which sign do they follow?
