Chattanooga Shootshoot, Tennessee (IP) - The City's public relation specialist called our office to announce a milestone set in his beautiful water front city. A drive by shooting there became the One Millionth shooting this year.
What was so unusual about this shooting was that there were no large crowds gathering here to protest the shooting.
A few kids beat up another kid in another town and they were or are being prosecuted for breaking the law. That has drawn protestors from all over the country who want the six folks who beat a member of another race to be let go. That is really important to them.
What does not seem to matter nor draw any protest from those protestors is the killing that occurs, black on black, on a daily basis, nation wide, to the point where it has become a sort of "epidemic of self genocide", if you will, but this does not draw protests.
Its fashionable for the hip hoppers to protest a tempest in a tea pot while a storm swirls around them. Its a bit like the USA squandering all its military resources and treasure in Iraq while washed out old icons of the bozo terrorist movement have the run of the mill along the Afghan border with Pakistan. It is all a matter of getting your priorities straight.
