Washington (IP) - Senator Jeff Craig has joined the disco band, The Village People, and will begin touring with them immediately. Craig taught disco dancing for years in Boise, Idaho which is a little known fact to most persons.
The band rented a local gymnasium and that is where Craig found them rehearsing for their next gig at the Fillmore Midwest in Kansas City, Missori. He joined them during their famous YMCA skit and he threw his arms up into the air and made the shapes of the letters Y, M, C, A, in such a skillful fashion that the band had no choice but to hire him on the spot.
Craig will be dressed like a chef and will wear only an apron and some tasteful skivvies underneath so as to not ruin his conservative image which he has been so careful to maintain and portray to his adoring worshippers and faithful constituents all of these years.
They will be performing at the White House later this month and the band has been hired to perform at the Republican Presidential Convention in San Franthisco in 2008. Mark Foley will be the master of ceremonies.
