Senator Larry Craig's children said today after telling press reporters that they "questioned him explicitly" about what exactly it is that men do in airport bathrooms, other than relieve themselves, wash and dry their hands, maybe check their comb-overs in the mirror, etc.
Poppy Craig resigned last week over his own interpretation of "what men do" in airport bathrooms following a sex sting at the Minneapolis-St Paul airport on June 11.
Michael Craig said he knew his dad "was a regular hetero guy" because he was a father who frowned upon that sort of thing.
Craig, 62, has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct following his arrest.
His family has been horrified that he has sparked a frenzied daily media discussion about what constitutes a lewd, immoral, illegal act.
"The arresting officer's testimony was just SO myopic," Michael Craig continued.
"We know Dad better than anybody else - better even the young men that the cops claim he was screwing around with....er, entertaining! in that St Paul bathroom."
