Still reeling from the incompetence dysfunction, and outright fraud which characterized its response to Hurricane Katrina, the Federal Emergency Management Administration, or FEMA, announced yesterday that they have accepted a bid from Halliburton to manufacture a line of mobile luxury cabins for victims of future natural catastrophes.
At a staggering cost of $750,000 each, some critics of the Bush administration are already crying foul. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that the Halliburton deal is indicative of the crookedness and deceit which has come to epitomize the Bush administration. "I would not pay $7.50 cents for one of those dilapidated pieces of crap", the speaker said.
