CCN (Crazy Cal News) - Miami - Hundreds of protesters gathered at the Kendell Miami-Dade College campus where President George W. Bush spoke on Saturday afternoon. An estimated 200 protesters were around the fence and there were an estimated 600 altogether. The protesters were commemorating "National Impeachment Day" with a peaceful march while Miami police assaulted them with billy clubs and tear gas.
A large coalition of center and left of center groups, including A28, Democrats.com, Progressive Democrats, and even some right-wing Republicans for America were carrying signs and screaming slogans such as "Out of Iraq" and "No blood for oil."
President Bush said, "Well, they obvusly got the wrong facts from the liberal media. I don't care about the facts. I just do what I think is right. These prostesterers don't bother me. I'm the decider, and I decide how long we stay in Iraq for oil money."
