Bahamas - (Disastrous Press): Virgie Arthur, the estranged mother of the late Anna Nicole Smith, is believed to be the prime suspect in the murder probe of her 20 year old grandson Daniel Smith.
Smith mysteriously dropped dead, apparently of sudden unexplained death syndrome at his mother's hospital bedside just days after she had given birth to his half-sister Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern.
The inquest into his demise has heard that only hours before arriving to visit his mother Daniel Smith had just had a severe talking-to from his Grandma about the evil of drugs.
Arthur, a fearsome former Texas Police Department officer, was heard repeatedly telling him it would be "his own bloody fault" if somebody spiked his smack with rat poison "just to teach him a lesson."
A coroner's report said toxicology tests had revealed a blood-thinning agent similar to 'Warfarin' in Smith's respiratory system that bore all the traces of typical sudden inexpicable death syndrome.
Ms Arthur has denied any involvement in her grandson's death and is still fighting tooth and nail to have him exhumed before a traditional Christian burial at her Texan home town on Wacko.
The post-mortem was adjourned until Monday.
