Donald Trump managed to get even grosser with his recent visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Trump was accompanied by a film crew. The film crew was used to film Trump at his wreath-laying ceremony.
Thank goodness for Trump that it was a sunny day. A sunny day without fog or rain meant he didn’t have to worry about his hair getting wet and going rogue.
Previously, as US president, Trump refused a visit to the US cemetery in France, where US Marines and soldiers killed in World War I were buried because it was raining and his hair would get wet.
Fear of wet hair was sufficiently disgusting, but at the time, he was also quoted as saying to Marine Corp General John Kelly that the soldiers and Marines buried at the cemetery in France were “suckers and losers.”
Referring to soldiers as “suckers and losers,” men who gave their last full measure of devotion to their country has recently come up again. Not because Donald Trump’s thinking has changed but because he is running for president again. And what will the MAGA voters think?
So he visited Arlington National Cemetery to lay a wreath.
On a sunny day.
With a film crew.
Case closed.
Making America Great Again.
