Governor Phil Scott said that luckily the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Mobile is fine since it was in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

MONTPELIER, Vermont – (Spoof News) - The tiny New England state of Vermont was rocked by an earthquake that measured 4.9 on the Richter scale.

Reports from state agencies say that no one was injured, but there is one hell of a mess all over the place.

Many grocery stores have broken eggs, spilt milk, sticky molasses, and damaged condoms scattered throughout the store.

A manager of one of the local Burger Kings said that the place looked like it had been hit by an F-3 category tornado.

She commented that there were pickle slices, onion rings, and drinking straws strewn all over the floor.

She said that one elderly man's Whopper burger somehow ended up in his wife's underwear.

And the Burger King drive-thru window microphone has yet to be found. BK is offering a $45 reward; no questions asked.

Early reports are that state-wide damages could end up somewhere up around the $93,000 mark.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
