Determined to replace her negative thought patterns with positive, happiness-promoting autosuggestions, Myra Lopez of Nashville, Tennessee, affirmed during her morning journaling that she was absolutely prefect in every way.
“Enough of limiting beliefs,” said the freshly inspired Myra, who writes her affirmations in pen, using her non-dominant left hand, so as to access her lizard brain and embed the positive statements in her subconscious mind. “I’m ready for the good stuff. I’m expanding my capacity for miracles and an overall wonderful life.”
Myra added that, although, in the past, she has self-sabotaged through haphazard errors or inattention to detail, she is moving forward with a newfound confidence in her own competence. And she’s no longer willing to let her past hold her back.
Just before bedtime, Myra reinforced the life-affirming statements she had written out in the morning, by typing rapid-fire positive reminders to resonate in her brain while she slept. To this end, she closed out the day by typing, over and over again, “Now is my time. Nothing can atop my now.”
