Washington, DC The President's sons, Eric and Donnie, Jr., have decided to talk to their father about opening the government back up.
"Donnie was going to take me to the zoo today for my birthday, and when we got there it was closed! Donnie used his cell phone to call and found out it was closed because of the government shutdown! They said they only had emergency personnel working, and we couldn't go in. I didn't know rich people would be affected by the shutdown!" said Eric.
"When we pulled rank to try to get the lady to let us in because we were the President's sons, she said that she would love to let us go and visit the lions by ourselves, but she couldn't get anyone on the phone to agree. When we found out there would be nobody to wait on us, that was the last straw!" said Donnie.
Donnie's going to take Eric to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum since the zoo is closed. Wait until he finds out it's closed too!
