Police forces from all over the US are involved in emergency talks today to discuss the possible copycat killings of 38 women with the same name during the month of November.
The women - all named Sarah Connor - were murdered by a tall muscular-looking man wearing a black leather motorcycle jacket, pants and boots, and black shades. He is described as having an intense, serious stare, and a European accent - possibly German.
The first woman to be killed was in Los Angeles, shortly after the suspect killed and stole clothes from a group of youths, but others followed all over the country, and officers are now worried that there may be more if they do not stop the suspect soon.
The authorities in all states have taken the extraordinary step of trying to warn all women called Sarah Connor of the possible danger to themselves, to alter their usual routines, and to hide.
