Washington D. C. - In a Tuesday press conference last week, U.S. Sen. Mazie Hirono D-Hawaii while pontificating about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's alleged sexual assault hearing proceedings, she had some very strong words for all men in the country.
In Sen. Mazie Hirono's own words: "I expect the men in this country and the men in this committee, and many of them, believe me, we all signed on to this letter to demand an FBI investigation. But really, guess who's perpetuating all of these kinds of actions? It's the men in this country, and I just want to say to the men of this country, just shut up and step up. Do the right thing."
Although her statement did sound a little convoluted to the average person, her underlying message was crystal clear: Men are the real problem with this country.
After the news conference, a female CNN reporter caught up with a woman who was purported to be one of Senator Hirono's aides to gain some insight and clarification of the statements. The CNN reported asked: "I think I understand all men should shut up, I wholeheartedly agree, what did you think the senator really meant?"
Since the cameras were off, the aide's adrenalin still pumping from the stimulating news conference, she told the CNN reporter what she really thought.
"All men are horny dogs and should be treated as such. They are all sexual predators, deviants and guilty of some offense against women. Whether its talking back, leering down a woman's blouse, trying to look up her skirt, stealing a kiss without permission, or masturbating in the bathroom using Sports Illustrated's Swim Suit Edition. A man only thinks with his penis."
Obviously fired up, the senator's aide went on to pronounce: "It's only a matter of time until all men are accused of some sexual misconduct, whether it's a recent offense or an accusal from 40 years ago. The #MeToo movement is taking care of that. Because they are men, they are by definition guilty of something and should be locked up."
The CNN reporter next asked the senator's aide: "I know Senator Hirono is an advocate of a woman's right to choose when it comes to abortion. What do you think her views are on conception?"
"We are living in the 21st century after all. If a woman wants to have children she should accomplish it in a safe, clean, sanitary, and the least obtrusive way possible: Artificial insemination. Men's only real usefulness to society is as sperm donors. That can be accommodated through local sperm banks."
