Washington D.C. - Ruth Bader Ginsburg is just fulfilling her lifetime appointment as a U.S. Supreme Court Justice, but many on the left are growing impatient with the Justice as the November midterm elections near.
In a liberal's nightmare scenario, if the Republicans take over the Senate this November, and any left-leaning judge were to retire or pass away, it would be extremely difficult for President Obama to replace them with a radical leftist, which has always been his preference.
Ginsburg, 168 years old, has had a good run on the highest court in the land but many Democrats feel that she should step aside now so the president could nominate a younger radical while there is a better chance of winning approval in the Senate.
"I mean, she's like 200, right?" an unidentified Democratic staffer on Capitol Hill asked. "Doesn't she understand the cause is more important than her career? She needs to go now so we can replace her with another left-winger who will be around for a while."
The staffer continued, "If the Republicans take the Senate in November, it will be cataclysmic! Every woman in America will be lined up and shot by firing squad as part of their 'War on Womyn.'
Also, all retail stores will be renamed Hobby Lobby and they will dictate what religion all employees must adhere to!"
The staffer then went into shock at the thought of a Republican win in November and passed out on the side of the street. We're sure Obamacare covers that so we just left him there.
It does seem that Ginsburg has fallen into the same trap all politician's fall into - they seem to hang on and stay way beyond their usefulness to the party.
What is Ginsburg trying to prove? Does she really want to be a sitting judge until she looks older than Nancy Pelosi in a close-up?
