Washington, DC President Barack Obama announced today that he will be resigning the office of President of the United States "as soon as we can locate Vice-President Joe Biden."
President Obama said that he would be vacating the Presidency in order for him to work full-time on his dream of being a professional basketball player.
When asked, "Why now?" the President said, "I'm not getting any younger. Besides, I wanted to set a good example for my daughters to never give up on their dreams."
When asked if he had a good chance of making a professional team, President Obama replied, "Well, there was that time I held my own playing horse with Wilt Chamberlain. Of course he was in his mid-60s at the time but he still had a great hook shot."
