Funny story written by Auntie Matter

Tuesday, 17 June 2014

A new law has been passed in Washington. Nobody with assets of less than $50 million will henceforth be allowed to stand for political office.

President Obama has announced the move as a "triumph for democracy".

George Bush said it was "long overdue" and is a welcome move in the "war against terrorism". Pope Francis has sent a telegram of congratulations saying "God and the Banco Ambrosiano are well pleased."

Ex-Uk Prime Minister Tony Blair quipped "I am glad I do not live in America but, speaking as a dedicated socialist, whatever is good for capitalist enterprise is okay by me."

J.K Rowling is allegedly penning a novel under her pseudonym Robert Galbraith although nobody knows why she bothers using one... all about a female fiction writer who makes a lot of dough from stealing other people's work but, with the help of the Freemasons in the Federal Reserve Bank and the Bank of England becomes the first female American President.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
