NEW YORK, NY - UN spokesperson, Lotta Boolsheet, issued a report today stating that the number of US citizens forced to leave their homes has exceeded 150 million for the first time since Jimmy Carter was president.
60 percent the USA's refugees are male, while 55 percent are female. 13 percent are gay and nine percent don't know. Many refugees travel alone each day in a desperate attempt to provide food, clothing and shelter to their families, often falling into the clutches of employers, the annual UN high commissioner for refugees (UNHCR) global trends report said.
More than 4,500,000 US children are left to fend for themselves while their parents suffer at work.
