It may be hard to argue with someone giving you a ticket for speeding or DUI or talking on a cellphone while driving when you are arguing with a machine.
That's what may be what happens in the near future as Silicon Valley has already built prototypes for the soldiers and now, police officers.
You can argue but the "officer" will merely replay the scene so what can you say.
What will look odd is that the officer may have caught up with you without a car or motorcycle. He could even BE a motorcycle or shape somewhat like one.
When asked about people losing jobs to robots the companies say they will still need people back up to check recordings, reports and control units.
"Robocop" the movies are old now but the idea has been discussed for some time and the video cameras are already everywhere security is concerned.
Of course something could go wrong. Remember the song from Dylan in the 1960's, Motorpsycho Nightmare? We could really have some nightmares if things get out of control or someone hacks one of these things.
