Grumpy Cat fans are going nuts over the news that their favorite feline crabby pants will take over "Late Night With David Letterman" when Letterman retires next year.
The new "Late Night With Grumpy Cat" will begin in the spring of 2015 and Grumpy's fans can't wait. "I feel like I'm going to explode"! said 48 year old Norma Johnson. "I love Grumpy Cat! And I know he will do a great job on the show, making fun of people and calling them names and pooping on them".
"NBC gets the gold star" said rival CBS TV executive Dull Oldman. I would never have thought of that, I was thinking Angela Landsbury or perhaps that old black lady from "Touched by an Angel".
When reached for comment Grumpy Cat said "I hate David Letterman, the most overhyped comic ever! I may kill him after I take over to ensure he is gone for good."
Grumpy Cat has been enjoying skyrocketing fame this past year as he goes more and more viral everyday. "I can't take a dump, without someone posting it on YouTube", Grumpy said as he licked his fur and gazed out the window.
NBC will be airing a special "Welcome to NBC Grumpy Cat" special around Christmas time.
