David Letterman has joked that he's 66 but he feels like he's 86.

NEW YORK CITY - It did not take long for the entertainment media to start speculating as to who will be replacing David Letterman when he hangs up his microphone on Late Night With David Letterman.

Hollywood Innuendo's Fajita San Guacamole stated that a highly placed inside source at CBS mentioned that the big bosses are seriously thinking about hiring Chelsea Handler.

Handler will be available due to the fact that the E Network will not be renewing her talk show Chelsea Lately.

Tapioca Swizzle with Tittle Tattle Tonight stated that she heard that another individual who is definitely in the running is Ellen DeGeneres.

Ellen was reached at her home and when told of the job opening replied that CBS has sent feelers out stating that high on their list of Letterman replacements are herself, Chelsea Handler, and Gary Busey, host of The Gorgeous Gary Busey Show.

Meanwhile, Jay Leno was asked if anyone had contacted him. He paused for a moment and then said, "No, but let's face it, I would make a damn good replacement for Dave (Letterman) since I already know everybody."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
