EL PASO - United States Border Patrol agents have reported that they've just shot down a drone that crossed over from Mexico into the United States.
A spokesperson for the Border Patrol stated that the drone was truly a state of the art drone and by all appearances it had been built at a well-known drone manufacturing plant in Zacatecas, Mexico.
The drone was knocked down with a single shot fired by a rocket launcher. Agents reported that although the drone was totally destroyed, the 200 pounds of marijuana survived the hit since they were triple wrapped in an extremely strong stainless steel container.
The marijuana was taken by agents and it will be flown to the FBI headquarters in Quantico, Virginia where it will be checked for DNA and fingerprints.
SIDENOTE: After the 200 pounds of marijuana is checked out it will most probably be sold to the state of Colorado at the present going rate.
