WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Obama said that he has never enjoyed watching the Academy Award Show more than he did this one.
The president watched the Tinsel Town show on The White House Big Screen TV Room along with the first lady (Michelle Obama), Vice-President Joe Biden, the second lady (Jill Biden), and one of his top civilian advisors Hollywood actor George Clooney.

The film 12 Years A Slave won and the president pocketed $600. He also bet that Texas good old boy Matthew McConaughey would win Best Actor for the movie Dallas Buyer's Club. Clooney took Bruce Dern in the motion picture Nebraska.
President Obama won $500 on that bet and he then won $275 when he bet Clooney that the Best Animated Feature Film would be Frozen - Clooney picked Despicable Me 2.
SIDENOTE: After the show the president took the $1,375 from Clooney and he immediately gave Michelle $400 and he told her to take Jill and get them each a pedicure in the morning.
