DENVER - Senator Jimbo Quickdance [D-Denver] has just informed the residents of his hometown that he is excited about an announcement regarding marijuana taxes.
Senator Quickdance, who calls himself a bouncing Colorado Baby Boomer, stated that just since the first of the year, the city has collected enough taxes on cannabis to fully pay for a 90-story building.
Construction on the new building which is being named The Smiling Clouds Business Building will begin in a few weeks.
The senator said that it is amazing when one thinks about the fact that a huge building can be built from the taxes brought in by pot.
He noted that Boulder, Colorado, has just informed the news media that they are taking their cannabis taxes and building a brand new high school, a city-owned indoor-outdoor spa, and 5,000 acres of land located just outside of the Boulder city limits.
SIDENOTE: The Smiling Clouds Business Building will have the entire 13th floor set aside for pot smokers.
