SEATTLE - The Northwest city of Seattle may not be a mile high like Denver, but it is certainly higher than the Mile High City in victory celebrations as their Seattle Seahawks are the Super Bowl Champions.
Earlier in the week Seattle Mayor Ed Murray had made a bet with Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock.
Murray said that if the Broncos won he would send Hancock 7 cases of Starbucks Coffee and 10 cases of Bic Lighters.
And if the Seahawks won Hancock would send Murray 5 cases of Coors Light Beer and 10 pounds of Durango Bango marijuana.
Hancock told National Focus Magazine reporter Jefferson Sierra that he had called up Mayor Murray and informed him that he was sending his "Bet" via a Lear Jet owned by the city of Denver.
The Denver mayor told Sierra that he could hardly hear Mayor Murray for all of the yelling, screaming, and shouting that was going on with the members of his office staff.
Mayor Hancock said that he could hear several staff members yelling out Rah! Rah! Rah! Durango Bango, Sis! Boom! Bah! PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!
