DENVER - Law enforcement officers have reported that they have confiscated 873 pounds of counterfeit marijuana that was being sold in a Denver marijuana shop.
Officer Winthrop Tanninfaust, Jr., with the DPD said that the fake pot looked, smelled, and tasted just like the real stuff.
When asked where the fake grass had come from he shrugged his shoulders and replied that he thinks it was smuggled in illegally in an 18-wheeler truck loaded with piƱatas from Mexico.
Denver police are searching for a man about 5-feet-2-inches tall, weighing around 315 pounds, and wearing a Tijuana Rocks T-shirt.
They ask anyone who may have seen this individual to be careful as he could be armed with a machete and a pair of maracas.
