New instability in Syria and the Middle East means the Rock of Gibraltar still has a major part to play in military peace keeping operations in the Mediterranean. Additionally Spanish pressures on Sovereignty issues are being regarded as pointless and counter productive.
Spanish Prime Minister, Mariana Rajoy was said to be. unimpressed by rhetoric and currently indifferent to any solution to related matters. Snatch Rajoy was said to be retarded after a fall during the break and incapable of articulate comment.
"The disputed Isthmus area is my government's only concern and Syrian instability is not in any way an Isthmus related issue," an Isthmus re-defining official said on Monday.
