Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio has vowed to act quickly to abolish horse-drawn carriages in the city, especially around Central Park.
Many will argue over this as they say New York is losing all its traditions.
"What are our kids to do that love riding in the carriages?", asked one citizen. "I guess we should all stay inside and keep our noses in computers, cellphones and televisions."
"However, de Blasio restated that police are going to get rid of the horse carriages" he said in response to a question at his press conference announcing his schools chancellor pick Monday.
"It's over," he said.
"No it's not!", someone yelled. "There will be a big protest after the weather clears for Spring."
"Look Out for horse meat in your burgers!", yelled another.
"A Mis-carriage of justice!"
Apparently, some are inviting over a million Amish and Mennonites to rally in Central Park this year.
Also, several who hate the closing, are planning to scatter horse manure around the Mayor's office as long as possible.
"Instead of a shoe, he may get a horse shoe thrown at him!"
