Although most people believe that President Obama should have gone to the Nelson Mandela Memorial, they had no idea that every time he goes overseas, even for a vacation, it costs taxpayers millions of dollars.
Everyone is entitled to take vacations but a million to shop in Paris, play golf, go to Martha's Vineyard? Most say that is far too much for ANY President.
I bet with some trying, a lot of official business trips could be cut out. Let them come to see us more often. Offer them a beer.
Of course, most leaders do not bring 50 personal guards and two airplanes.
Maybe if we gave the Dems in congress a list of spending cuts for a future GOP President or vice versa, it wouldn't come up to half of what we are spending now.
I say we need a CPA for President, or at least, as a Vice President.
Besides, what does President Obama learn from these overseas leaders that he hasn't already been told by our Secret Service and their bugging devices?
I mean, what are bugging devices for if not to see what they really think. All politicians can say anything. But the bugs tell it as it is!
