Phil Spector playing Al Pacino

Phil Spector, the musical genius behind hundreds of popular songs was only pursuaded to go to Gaol because he was tricked into thinking he was playing Al Pacino in "The Godfather", a cellmate said this morning.

Phil, in reality serving 19 to life in California State Prison, Corcoran, reportedly keeps writing new Christmas songs all the time and frequently shouting out "Where the Hell are Martin Scorsese and Marlon Brando? In reality it is thought that the confused songwriter saw Al Pacino playing Spector in a recent TV biography of the fallen star.

Close friends of Spector said, "Phil was watching T.V. in his cell when Pacino appeared dressed as him in the biopic. Phil, who due to events of late has to concentrate very hard to keep his grip on reality had no chance after that!".

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
