WASHINGTON, DC - President Obama reached a compromise with Democrat and Republican leaders today and issued an executive order to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $100 per hour.
Democrats demanded that the minimum wage be raised to $200, while Republicans wanted the minimum wage to be abolished.
White House spokesperson, Pat C. Suckermann, spoke to the White House press corps this morning and stated that "President Obama's goal has been to to raise the minimum wage to $1000 per hour, but Republicans have blocked him at every opportunity.
He finished by blaming "internal Republican caucus politics" for failing to make everyone millionaires".
