SPRINGFIELD, Illinois - The Illinois Senate is getting ready to vote on one of the most talked about bills in recent history.
Senator Hayley Martha Tuckerbucker [D-Kankakee] has informed the media that a vote has been scheduled to take place on Monday, August 5.
The main item is a bill that will make marijuana legal within the state. The bill known as IMB-903 includes two rider sub-bills.
Senator Tuckerbucker said that the first rider bill will allow for unrestricted nude bathing in Lake Michigan.
She stressed that the Illinois residents as well as any visitors to the state can feel free to swim naked in Lake Michigan 24 hours a day.
The second rider to IMB-903 stipulates that any illegal aliens or illegal immigrants (as Vice-President Biden calls them) who have resided in the state for at least 48 hours will automatically be given U.S. citizenship.
According to Senator Tuckerbucker after becoming full-fledged citizens the illegal immigrants must agree to pay 2 percent of their earnings into the State of Illinois Miscellaneous Fund for a period not to exceed four weeks.
