Deceased cast members of Bonanza, an iconic American western television show that aired for nearly 14 years, were discovered yesterday sitting behind the wheel of new vehicles in a Kansas Toyota dealership showroom, said police.

"I think they were using them to bring in customers," said Chubbick County Sheriff Dick Neezil. "They were all there, Ben Cartwright and his three sons, and even the cook, Hop Sing," said Neezil.

According to police, family members were shocked to learn that their famous deceased relatives were being displayed by a car dealership. "He's where?" asked the grandson of one unidentified cast member.

Neezil said a salesman told him that business had really perked up "after the Bonanza guys arrived."

But Neezil shook his head and said, "You know, it just ain't right. Hoss was propped up behind the wheel of a shiny new Tundra pickup, like he was drivin' the thing, and he was holding a sign that read, "Hoss says get 0% financing now! It just ain't right."

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
