What began as a happy event, a birthday party for a 30 year-old woman, turned violent last night. According to a guest, approximately 50 people were celebrating Saltina Hoofnaugle's 30th birthday at her home around 8:00pm.
"We sang 'Happy birthday,' and after that, this weird guy shouted, 'Hip Hip,' and when no one said 'hooray' he just went nuts," said partygoer Feleeza McQuilk.
Police were called to the scene after the man, later identified as 27 year-old Wick Dooley, stuck several people with the pin from a Pin the Tail on the Donkey game.
No one was seriously injured but one man underwent surgery at a local hospital to have the donkey tail removed from his buttocks.
"It was scary," said McQuilk. "From now on, I know I certainly won't hesitate to yell, "Hooray."
