Washington DC: A number of White House staff members have been fired for creating the He's Every-Where Program, on the White House website, supposedly without the president's knowledge.
The He's Every-Where program is a three phase program consisting of American History, Literature and Sports themes all relating to President Obama's three and one half years in office. Republican's voiced strong objections to the White House politicizing everything it touched!
Phase I, American History: The biography of nearly every US president of the past century has been amended, adding a section at the end where the former presidents' accomplishments were tied to those of President Obama.
Phase II, Literature: The books Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Frankenstein, Dracula and Alice in Wonderland were to be portrayed as having affected the president's decision making process.
Phase III, Sports: The president's influence on the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Football League (NFL), the National Hockey League (NHL) and Manchester United (soccer) were to be portrayed.
White House Press Secretary Carney announced the cancellation of the He's Every-Where Program after the first phase, but did indicate the president thought adding a Phase IV, Music would have been interesting!
