New York, NY - A recent Gallup Poll shows that 69% of Republicans prefer leadership from behind vs only 64% of Democrats, this goes against recent declarations of Washington Republicans and most of the Republican Candidates for President.
The poll also shows that 20% of those supporting leadership from behind are actually closet supporters, including House Majority leader John Boehner who recently came out of the closet. An emotional, tearful, John Boehner said, "I must admit to my family and my friends and colleages, I actually....like being lead from behind and leading from behind."
Nancy Reagan has been so moved by the recent ground swelling of support for leadership from behind that she is funding the National Lead From Behind Academy of Leadership Development. She will personally teach a course tying shoes, because she is a strong believer that real Leaders Tie There Shoes. "Real Leaders shouldn't be afraid of where they lead from!" Said Nancy, "Women have lead from behind for years, why do you think Ronnie was so successful!" Another course will include the debate over Movers vs Shakers
Research has shown that Leading from behind is 20% more efficient than leading from in front. It motivates people in front to get out of the way. Also, people leading from behind, almost always end up in the lead and leading from behind helps encourage more talk amongst those in the front, who are wondering who is leading from behind!
Leading from the front is also seeing its share of difficulties, take Jerry Jones, coach of the Dallas Cowboys, or what's his name, leader of the Tea Party movement.
President Obama was quick to seize on the report that backs his style of leadership and approach to recent success in Libya. "It was just a matter of time until I was vindicated for my leadership style. I want to thank the Republicans who have stepped out of the closet. Their bravery and that of Nancy Reagan for supporting this new effort in promoting leadership from behind."
