A new superfood to rival blueberries, apples and broccoli is set to hit the shelves.
Fans of sea buckthorne say it contains vitamins A, B1, B2, E and up to ten times the vitamin C found in oranges.
They also claim that it boosts brain function while antioxidants it contains combat obesity, teeth problems, acne, poor digestion and constipation.
"Oh yeah - yeah. It does all that. Yeah," said local entrepreneur Len Duster who is sole importer of sea buckthorn juice. "Tell yer what - it'll cure yer hay fever an'all - bloody boon at this time of year right?
"I also give it the missus the other night. She had the toofache summink rotten. Cleared it up in minutes. Straight up.
"Look - I'm cuttin' me own froat 'ere, but I can do you a couple of bottles for a Pavarotti... kosher. Or ar abart case for a pony?
"Come rarn my lock-up at six. Cushty."
