Transport Scotland has warned drivers about a menace on the roads at this time of the year.
The Scottish national transport agency issued a statement this afternoon :
"Every time this year hundreds of young, immature creatures are freed from the coat tails of their parents and make their way onto roads across the country for the first time on their own.
"They have no road sense and their actions when they come upon a thoroughfare are totally unpredictable.
"They are a danger to themselves and to others".
Ok, so that's the risk posed by young drivers that have just passed their tests, what's the message concerning young deer ?
