Larry Sabu, 20, a regular visitor to gay bars and male brothels on the high street, spent an evening in his house shaving the monkey's arse with a disposable razor.
Mr. Tibbs the talking Chimp was Larry's guest for the night and what a delightful evening they had.
They discussed politics and romantic novels and even had time to watch a bit of telly during intervals in the shaving.
Mr. Tibbs asked that his bottom not be too tightly shorn as he did not want to freak out visitors to the local zoo.
Larry raised a substantial sum of cash.
He would not say exactly how much he raised because, as he put it, "I don't want the tax-man on my back".
