Lib Dem charity single set to top UK chart

Funny story written by Ryan Woods

Tuesday, 30 November 2010

Earlier today an announcement was made from Lib Dem HQ revealing that the Party is releasing a charity single in aid of the "children of andorra accused of lying and betraying" society.

The song is to be a cover of the classic "shaddapa ya face" and will feature vocals from Nick Clegg, Vince Cable, Simon Hughes and Tim Farron. It is being recorded by the Norwegian chart topping producer Dodgy Bob in a studio located somewhere near Oslo.

Although it is odds on favourite to reach the top of the chart some circles have described it as "the worst thing to happen to the country since the world cup."

The rest of the party (the 3 other members) seem to be remaining fairly upbeat claiming the song will "show the British public that the Lib Dems are not just one trick ponies."

Remember to watch Sunday's chart to see how well the single does.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
