Prince William has announced that he does not wish to become King. He is of the opinion that his father would be best suited for the job. After all, Charles has been preparing for this position his whole life.
No fool this young man William. He has a full-time job which he enjoys and obviously it is a job that is extremely worthwhile and rewarding in many ways. He's serving his country well - much better than he would be able to if he were merely 'the King'.
Also, not being King will allow William to stay out of the Royal limelight and enjoy his life, his wife and, hopefully, future children. Smart man!
Prince Charles, on the otherhand, appears to be dying to be King (literally). Why won't the Queen step down and enjoy watching Charlie take the reigns before she pops her clogs?
For goodness sake woman - you are 84 year old. Surely you'd like to see your son 'take over' and enjoy less stress in your life. Or are you such a stubborn woman with no maternal instincts whatsoever, bitter because of your husband's infidelities, hanging on in there to prove a point. Whatever that point may be. Give the crown to Charles.
Poor Charlie. He'd make a great King. Even if the crown is too big...those ears of his will prevent it from falling down over his eyes.
