Isle of Wight residents are so excited about the upcoming Royal Wedding.

They have started fundraising events in order to pay for two islanders to travel to Westminster Abbey to see the wedding up close and personal. The two MUST take many polaroid photos to bring back to show the Isle residents, following this exciting event.

The two islanders will have their names picked out of a hat, closer to the 29th April.

One of the Isles residents Colonel Kraut Braun, mentioned that he was not comfortable with the date the young Royals had chosen for the wedding. He said that he has really BAD vibes about 29th April. He told the islanders that it was also the date that Adolf Hitler married Eva Braun.

The residents asked who this Hitler person was.

When told he took a part in the World War II, the residents commented that the only reason they knew that a World War was actually taking place was that many bewildered children were shipped to the Isle with gas masks, name tags and a few clothes.

The locals took them into the bosom of their families, looking after them until the day they were told to send all of the children back to the mainland. This situation remains a mystery to the islanders today.

A number of women on the Isle have photos of the Royal Engagement dress and their treddle machines are smoking as they reproduce the dress for sale to islanders. The money raised from the sale of the blue dress will go towards sending the two islanders(names to be announced at a later day, as mentioned above), to the Royal Wedding.

The two people who are lucky enough to have their names picked out of the hat will also have the pleasure of crossing to the mainland on the ferry - probe free - pat down free .

The islanders are keeping their fingers crossed that the Royal couple will choose The Isle of Wight as their honeymoon location.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
