French fried!

With the Joint Armed Forces Treaty between France and the UK being signed today it has been revealed that all British tanks will be refurbished to accommodate the French when on operations in War zones.

Manufacturers have already said that new Gear Box orders are near completion and will be fitted as soon as possible.

A spokesman said "In line with France's foreign policy all tanks will now have One forward gear and Four reverse gears in compliance with original French Tank designs."

"We've been instructed to fit a new FRS (Flag Recognition System) thus enabling changes between British and French flags flying on the tanks depending on which nationality is in charge," he added.

Foreign Secretary William Hague confirmed reports that on the insistence of the French government - a bright red emergency button is installed on the FRS where upon activation - a large white flag is displayed instantly over any existing flag.

Also revealed was that the tank door will be made wider enabling both arms to be raised vertically much quicker in the event of any aggression from the enemy.
