Results of a new study out by British Scientists prove that the more flamboyant a dancer a man is, the more women he gets. This flies directly in the face of the old thinking where if a man does anything that is described as flamboyant, he's not all that into girls in the first place.
Regardless, the scientists from Northumbria University are standing by their findings. The data was collected as male subjects, aged 18 to 35 and wearing only loin cloths were assembled in the middle of a laboratory and videotaped as they were told to dance to the rhythmic beat of a drum. Bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum went the drum as the men writhed to the beat sometimes with and other times without a partner.
The videotape was then shown to women of the same age group. When the giggling died down, the women were told to rate the dancers. Although none of the women believed that the men were heterosexual in the least, they did say that the dancing was quite stupendous and had the research been done with female dancers in the group mix, the results might have come out quite differently.
The research was paid for by the Internationally famous male dance troupe, The Chippendales.
