I can be an X Factor Winner!

The world of TV showbiz is in a flap as it was revealed that some singers in the X Factor show on ITV had their voices enhanced for the programme.

X could be a vote or for something wrong or top mark or the spot where the treasure is hidden. Now a new use of the single letter emerges. X if for fake.

Already keen talentless people have moved from singing in the bath to a new musical age. The Age of Inaccuracy - when something is not what it is! This is a scientific breakthrough. The world will never be the same again.

'I can sing! I can sing! I can sing!' croaks the Crow. 'I am a great singer' trumpets the elephant. 'I will charm the world' claims the laughing Hyena.

But how to vote in the X Factor show when it emerges that the X in X Factor is a machine not a voice.

TV Executives are not letting any of this hullaballoo worry them. With a few tweaks of the technology the strident cries become poetry to their ears. With 11 Million viewers there is nothing to worry about. X Certificates have always been a big draw in the age of mass entertainment.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
