LONDON - The presenter for BBC News at One and BBC Breakfast, Louise Minchin has verified that she has signed to do an interview with the American women's publication Mature Women Illustrated.
The 42-year-old good-looking English lady, Louise Minchin stated that she is very excited to be flying out to Chicago to be interviewed for the very prestigious womens magazine by none other than Oprah Winfrey herself.
While in Chicago, Louise will be staying at the mansion of one of Chicago's most famous residents Ms Winfrey. Miss O, as her subjects, or rather employees call her, will give Ms. Minchin the grand old tour of Chicago.
They will visit picturesque Lake Michigan, with its various array of dozens of exotic birds which have all been trained to do their 'business' over the water.
Louise says that she is really looking forward to going to Wrigley Field and watching the Chicago White Sox play a baseball game. She was quickly told that Wrigley Field is the home of The Chicago Cubs.
"Bloody, blimey, bloomin' me, but of course, I knew dat da stadium was named after da chewin' gum, but I forgot dat it is da home of da world famous Cub blokes."
Minchin is fluent in four languages including Spanish, Lithuanian, Chinese, and Chippewa. Oprah giggled and told her that it will come in handy when they travel up to Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, and she has to converse with the foreign-born taxi cab drivers.
Minchin was asked what or who else she would like to see on her visit to America and she replied that she would like to meet this Kara DioGuardi lady, The American Idol judge who seems to have literally written hundreds and hundreds of songs.
She was asked if she also wanted to meet Kara's fellow American Idol judge Randy "The Black Dawg" Jackson.
Minchin grinned and respectfully replied that she did not because she understands that all Jackson ever says is that this singer was pitchy and that singer was pitchy.
Louise did say that she has met the charming Englishman Simon Cowell and that she would love to have lunch with Ellen DeGeneres and talk about how it feels to be a lesbianite in modern day America.
