Police in the U.K. have warned of a bizarre scam, obviously created by someone with a sweet tooth!
This unusual scam involves the scammers, (aka thieves), approaching people and kindly letting them know they have chocolate on their backs, how the hell it got there would be my first thought, and then the scammers offer to help remove it.
It's unclear what method they, the scammers, use.
Now, those who have had a this rather sour than sweet experience, (aka victims), have mostly been men.
Smart, well groomed wallet filled men have fallen for the scam, so as the scammer wipes the "Phantom Chocolate" off the persons back they go for the treasure, (aka wallet).
It's all to late when the scammed have discovered sometimes afterwards that their money has been stolen.
The apparently friendly thieves have been targeting unsuspecting shoppers in The Mall shopping centre in Luton, Bedfordshire.
