Money markets around the world were rocked this morning after newly crowned Prime Minister David Cameron and his Chancellor, George Osborne, were revealed to be missing.
They were last seen just after the outgoing Chancellor and former comedian, Steve Martin, handed over the accounts books.
Senior civil servants report hearing several loud exclamations including some swearwords not heard since the Lloyd-George government in the mid-war years.
Unconfirmed reports also suggest sighting of a Cameron-shaped hole in the back door of Number 10.
Former PM, Gordon Brown, later stated "ladida, don't care, not MY problem any more"
Deputy PM, Nick Clegg, added "It's ok - Vince Cable will save us all"
