The luxury ladies clothes designer and outlet, Pranda, today announced plans to offer ladies clothes for hire in 5 County Courts starting on Monday.
A spokeswoman said, "We see this as a natural extension of our business. As everyone knows, women are treated more favourably than men at Court and we felt that offering men a chance to hire ladies clothes for their hearing would significantly increase their chances of success, particularly in the family courts, where it is almost impossible for a man to win custody of their children."
Commenting on this decision, His Honour Les Beavingem said, "Us Judges are under strong pressure from the Ministry of Injustice to bend over backwards in favour of women and this is a wonderful opportunity to make it look like we are unprejudiced and actually listening to the facts of the case. I support this approach by Pranda's."
This reporter looks forward to seeing whether this affects the disappointingly low success rate for men at court.
