Gordon Brown has been spotted on the back of dust cart prompting speculation he is already training for his career outside 10 Downing Street.
The embattled premier who has become synonymous with the economic and social bankrupcy of Britain, was seen in on the bin rounds in Letchworth, Herts.
Wearing a flat cap, donkey jacket and stained scarf, Brown furtively rode the back of the wagon with two colleagues.
He was seen to alight from the vehicle and inspect the contents of a bin, removing a teddy bear which he affixed to the lorry's radiator.
Brown also took out several old pornographic magazines before he emptied the bin, stating: 'Jackie's husband likes these - he might give me a few quid for them.'
Several pieces of paper and tin cans were left strewn on the lawn as the bin wagon drove away.
A Downing Street spokesman confirmed several Labour politicians were now looking forward to a career outside politics.
