Thousands of Scottish job seekers, income support claimers and incapacity claimants have rallied to fight the proposed cut in Scottish benefits by the English Lords.
In a statement from the Scottish Social Cost Analysis Board (SSCAB), Jinty McMony said "the proposed cuts in benefit to the Scottish people by the English Lords are totally unacceptable. The majority of our population are out of work and rely heavily on our highly taxed and work stressed cousins in the south of the UK to pay our benefits!"
McMony went onto say "Scotland is one of the most healthiest and nicest countries to live, our air is the freshest in the UK, our landscape is renowned the world over, our diet is very healthy because we can only afford the most basic of food ingredients and have the time to prepare it, furthermore we distil our own poteen and grow our own organic tobacco - to cut our benefits is not just racial discrimination but against our Human Rights under UK law!"
